MDUC challenge

A few weeks ago i had decided that challenges are for the birds and unless i didnt mind that i wasn't going to win i would enter, so this is one of those that i really feel pretty good about, especially since we are in the throes of buying our "very own house" the first property that will not be rented, and it has a brand new gourmet kitchen that i am looking forward to preparing meals in.

I thought something that would be really nice would be a new key holder, you know you come in the door and where do you leave your keys so that you will know where to find them, this is one of those.
I had these little printers trays since i closed the shop nearly two years ago, collecting dust as i wasnt sure i would ever use them, voila i had a lightbulb moment.
i have used all the images from the yummy for your tummy collection, colored with copics.  the ribbon from the never ending stash, as are the pearls, the border punch that i used is an ek success punch, and the miniature ironing board i covered with the ribbon so it matched, the little iron i colored black with copics and then added some silver leaf pen for the underside so you can just see it.  I did the same to the rolling pin only adding the silver leaf pen to the handles.
since my new kitchen is gonna be black and white, i really didnt want to add too much color to this.
the charms are mostly from my stash and one or two from a BFF in the USA.  i added little cup hooks at the bottom of the printers tray where we could hang our keys when we come home.

I am gonna enter this into the challenge on MDUC since they are looking for projects for the kitchen on their challenge this week.
