Sometimes i take the photo's quite literally as you can see by the wedding cake that i made for this challenge.
I was inspired by Angela Wood's wedding cake, so made the round boxes, embossing each of my layers of cake using my cuttlebug embossing folders.
I added lace, pearls and flowers to each of the layers, colored my Bridal couple with copics and gave the bride a lavish going over with stickles star dust, popped the layers together and then used some foam board covered with silver cardstock for the platter.

ReplyDeleteOK, Paola, I am now filing for divorce! Then, I'll remarry DH and have you make a keepsake cake! I love this! It is just absolutely amazing! The embossing on the sides is perfect. The lace is GORGEOUS! i love this. How long did it take? Wow!
